Copying an SD Card with Audio Files

I have a lot of mp3s that I converted using technics manager. I converted and saved them on a SD card.

When I plug the SD card into my keyboard they work fine.

I tried to copy these SD files using my computer, onto another SD card. (as a backup)

When I plugged the copied SD card into my keyboard, I get a message NO FILES FOUND.

Any idea what the problem is?

Thank you in advance

The KN7000 SD Cards use the SD Secure format when working with MP3 or WAV files. This is a copy protection mechanism implemented by Panasonic and Toshiba.

Once your MP3s or WAVs are converted and placed on the SD Card, in a secure format that Technics called SD Audio, they can't be copied.

This means that you can't back up those files or transfer them to another card by simple copying in windows or Mac. You can only transfer them using the original software (normally SD-Jukebox) and the Panasonic SD Card Reader.

So, unfortunately you can't do what you were trying to do even though it seems intuitively correct.

Sorry to inform you of that but at least you now know what it going wrong.

Best wishes,
