I have a KN7000 but I need to know how to save ALL SETTINGS to disc.
Instruction manual is confusing. Says you need to select file to save to on disc. OK. But what is it saving from keyboard? The existing sound set on the keyboard?

What I want to do is save ALL my settings from the various BANKS A B C and 1 tp 8. Help?

Hi Terry
If you save what you currently have set up for a particular song/piece of music to a floppy disk, have a look at pages 2 and 3 while in the process of saving and those two pages will tell you exactly what you are about to save and what else you could save by answering yes or no to a range of options.
Having said that the KN7000 has a slot for an SD Card into which you can save your settings as time goes on for every song/piece of music you have settings sorted out for. The beauty of the SD Card is that it downloads back to the keyboard in about one and a half seconds compared to the floppy disk download time of around 10 seconds.
Hope this helps but by all means keep asking questions until the light bulb comes on in your head...chuckle.

Still having trouble simply saving to disc! I go to pagw 2 and sellect ALL. Then save. Keyboard confirms save. But then what. Where is it? There is mo display telling me what or where on the disc. Keyboard is great. But totally Frustrated at save mechanism.

Re: help saving to disc on KN7000

Hi Terry
Whilst saving to the floppy disk did you give what you were saving a name?
Even if you didn't and therefore nothing shows up on the floppy disk when you press the disk load button on the top right hand side of the lid, it will have been saved in 'technics format' to the 01 spot on your floppy disk.
One way of proving this is to alter your settings on your keyboard to something else entirely and then load that 01 from the floppy disk hopefully to see your original saved settings return to the keyboard set up.
Another way is to pop your floppy disk into an appropriate slot if you have one in your computer and see there what is on the floppy disk.
Let us know how you get on.
