cheryl here from illinois. fabulous to have a user manual for kn7000. I ordered from blurp with no problems. anyone have a music rack for kn7000 for sale? still looking for one. my grandsons are out of school for summer break now and its hard to find the time to sit down and play. I just decided I need to make the time even if its only 15 minutes or so, its very relaxing to me, although 15 minutes can turn into hours, time flies when I have the chance to sit down and play, Im sure many of you can relate to that.

Re: kn7000

Hi Cheryl,

I'm glad to know you got your KN7000 manual, I don't know how I would do without mine (I have two!).

I've been talking to a friend of mine who owns a metal engineering company about making new music rests, keyboard stands and a few other accessories (now that's got you wondering... for example a computer stand to use with KN7000). I've let that slide recently as I've had so many things on and the next step is for me to draw the items in CAD. Lots of people have bought their keyboards without rests, or lost / broken their rests so I want to look further into that.

My sketch design for a rest also brings the music just above the flip-top panel, because I find it hard to keep focusing between the music and the panel. The music feels too far away for me.

So, in the meantime, good luck with finding a rest, if you don't find one watch this space but it might be quite a while before I'm able to get to a good enough finished article.

Best wishes,
Mike

PS I saw your comment against Phil's interview. He's a tremendous player and a real inventor. I'm going to try to refrain from answering posts on the interview as I said enough myself in it. I'm really pleased to see that people are enjoying it.

Re: kn7000

thanks mike for the info on music rest for kn7000. I will keep checking the forum if any one has one or like you said if you come up with a design for a metal worker to make, and of course works to your liking I am sure it would work for me. right now I have made a 4inch shelf with a groove 1.5inches back so music doesnt fall off. this shelf I fastend to the wall and sits evenly at the top of raised panel on keyboard. works out well for now. again thanks. Cheryl.
