Does anyone know if there is a way of reducing the BPM when using the music styles, everything seems pre se and are excellent, but I find many styles a little too fast for me.

Re: Music Styles in thr KN7000

Hi Hathersage,

Because the styles are just Composer files they don't have any tempo set in them (it is not possible in Composer files). I wanted to make the first sets of files that we released as simple as possible, so that people only need to transfer a single file per style. Also, for that reason, some of them might need a minute or two's work to get them sounding great on your keyboard.

For tempo, you can just set that with the tempo dial. The original tempos are in the PDF file listing that you can download on the same page as the Styles.

You could then save it in a panel memory or transfer it to a Custom Rhythm if you wanted.

Hope that helps,
Mike

Or maybe you are referring to the built-in Styles?

Sorry about that, yes I was referring to the built in Music Stylelist not Music Styles in general but I did not make that clear.
I did not realize that in default when opened the Stylelist remains on view and I was trying to change the BPM on that page. When pressing the Mode button the page changes but within seconds it reverts to the Stylelist page again and as you can only change tempo in Mode you have to be a little quick !
