Hi all,
I know I already asked about this Style Conversion from Technics provided floppies but this post is more specific about converting the styles from the following provided floppies :
- Solton 01
- Solton 02/02/04/05/06
- Roland 102/103/104/105/106
- Roland 107/108
- Roland E86
- Roland E96
- Roland G800
- KORG i Series

Am sure someone had converted them all to KN7000 but I could not find a one-to-one map of the above floppies

Thank you for your help

Thanh

Re: Technics provided styles from other keyboards

Hi Thanh, The best program to look at is from EMC. called Style Works XT
web site :-"http://www.emc-musicsoftware.com"... I have just checked my copy and they list all of your list except The Roland 102 to 108, Depending on which version you purchase the options differ slightly. Note this software is produced by a third party from the keyboard manufacturers and does not cover all models or makes. and as with all conversion software they are not 100% true so there is always some fine tuning to be done. It does not copy registration setups so you have to create your own.
Regards John.

Thanks John for your quick reply.
I don't plan to spend $$$ for these styles.
I just wonder if you can share with me the styles you already converted with the EMC Style Works software.

Thanks

If you go to the KN7000 styles downloads page you will find the styles Mike has put on the site.this is from Yamaha, Roland etc. apart from the original free download from the original Technics site.
Regards John.

Re: Technics provided styles from other keyboards

Thank you For for your reply and for your reference to go web site.
In another post if mine, I think you referred me to the same web site and as a matter of fact I could not find what I am looking for and that's why I reiterate my request to have these specific converted styles from these floppies :
- Solton 01
- Solton 02/02/04/05/06
- Roland 102/103/104/105/106
- Roland 107/108
- Roland E86
- Roland E96
- Roland G800
- KORG i Series

Again many thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Technics provided styles from other keyboards

Hi again Thanh
If I read your request carefully you are saying that there are floppies (floppy disks) which you may or may not have on which there are all the rhythms from a range of Solton; Roland; and Korg keyboards. You are asking whether anybody has converted these for use in a Technics KN7000.
IF THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE ASKING THEN...
Nobody to my knowledge has carried out all that work and kept all those resultant style files available for other KN7000 owners to download.
The site I mentioned above is the nearest you will get.

Thank you Roger.
I will then convert them one by one and post it for other KN7K users..
