Displaying Chords and Lyrics

Hi All,

I'm returning to gigging after a long lay off! I'm trying to condense down on what I have to take out to gig. One of the problems with gigging was large pads of music and words etc. So using Serenade I've set about adding lyrics to all my midi files, however, The KN7000 doesn't seem to display the chords. Am I missing something? I have just thought about using the 'photo' capability of the display and perhaps display my words and lyrics by taking pics but don't know how well that word work. It would be great if I don't have to take out the music pads plus I wont be hidden from view behind a big pad!

thanks John

Re: Displaying Chords and Lyrics

Hi John, I stumbled across your old 2017 post concerning Lyric & Chord display on a KN7000. Did you ever get to resolve it? Do you still need guidance?

I'm doing it all the time on my KN2600 ~ it's a bit of faff but can be done - if you have the patience.

An alternative might be Songbook?

Or with your midi software that allows lyric editing just (A)dd (C)hords in round (B)rackets into the lyric lines. The results are (Am)azing!

I'll try to attached a shot of my 2600 screen to show you what I mean.

Bob
