Hi Mike,

Is there any way to install the KN7000 or PR804 drivers onto a computer with Windows 10 OS? Keep getting 'setup error' when I try running the install through the CD ROM files.

Re: Driver Installation in Windows 10

Hi, The problems tat you are having may well be down to the fact the drivers are from a former era. The Technics Keyboards and Ensembles we have were designed back in the very late1990's/ early 2000's. This was at the time Microsoft were using Windows XP. For my music I still use an older PC and run Windows 7. and use it in the XP mode. However if you are using the Audio USB input I record my work using "Audacity" which is a freeware program and easy to download and use with good results. The main drivers poeple tend to use are the MIDI drivers. This is were if you can try running in XP mode if Windows 10 will let you
Regards John.

Re: Driver Installation in Windows 10

Thanks for the response John!

After playing around with compatibility modes, I was able to install the drivers from the disk onto my Windows 10 computer, but when I plug the USB into the laptop and turn on the keyboard, my device manager doesn't recognize that a new device has been attached.

I was hoping to use my keyboard both for input into my Sibelius notation software, as well as output from the software to use the keyboard sounds when playing back. I was able to do both of these things years ago on my old computer, but it has crashed and I'm trying to recreate the environment with today's devices.
